    Alsace Grand Cru Rosacker AOC

    Terroir

    Located in the commune of Hunawihr, at the place called "Heitzberg" (Chaud Mont) of the Grand Cru Rosacker, the vines are at an altitude of 340 m and face south. The very chalky subsoil is composed of shell limestone from the Muschelkalk. The bedrock is exposed in places.

    A great wine for ageing, which can also be enjoyed after 3-5 years of ageing.
